the top is a great example of good typography because its shows that good type faces with designs catches the eyes of the viewers. as well as show good size and placement. the color and design of the typefaces also creates more style and interest into the poster as well.

i believe both of these photos are good examples of great typography because both of these flyers show good type faces as well as show good size and placement. the bottom photo also showed ways to combine different type faces.

The first photo is a great example of good typography it is very creative and well proportioned and color. The typefaces are very clear and easy on the eyes.

Restaurant Name

I got the idea for the name of my restaurant by thinking of my mother's cooking and decided to use incorporate my mother's last name which is Roger's. Also i thought of ultimate from just thinking of the concept of great or an adjective to match roger's. Finally i anted to create a Bar & grill restaurant which comes from my personal thoughts of restaurants i loved to goto when i go out to eat.

Mood Board restaurant

I tried to show that i wanted the theme of a bar & grill type of restaurant with the theme of a soul music type of atmosphere. As well as show the type of food and drinks they have and show a mid level type of restaurant of not too high but not cheap either.

week 7

For both of the photos i believe they are both good typography because they both are poster signs and both have good typefaces that attract the eyes and great sizes and color for the design of the posters.

week 6

the first picture is great typography because the typeface is very bold and appealing to the viewers. since it is an sign for people to see where an exit is, it has to be very easy on the eyes and the font has to be very bold and clear to read. So the exit sign is  perfect example of good typography.

the first photo is good type is demonstrates great advertisement for the paper cover and catches the viewers attention. the typefaces they used works well together to get the subject across and used great sizes and color with the fonts.

week 4

Both of these are great typography its uses size and colors very well to interpret the type. they both are unique and uses san serifs very well very clean and readable.

Week3 blog Post

The first photo of a the store sign is very bad typography its very hard on the eyes and could create confusion for viewers. The serif font for the sign is also bad for a billboard sign its not a great font to see at a big size. Plus the horizontal and vertical alignment of the words is bad typography because its just not visually appealing.

The magazine typefaces are good type faces that are very clear to read and a little bold which makes it more readable.Also the color choices thought out very well.
the second photo is really bad typeface which is ver hard to read on a truck and really to bold to visuall on a truck.

social assignment

i used th word social and put in the lobby room in my dorm where the students come to watch tv, play pool,chat and basically come to be socially active with other students and friends

Blog 1

during class we did evaluation on each others projects and received thoughts from others in the class. we also took some notes on other type faces and wrote them down. we also talked about the circles project and how to save and download the file.

i wanted to create a ninja out of a couple of letters. i found some letters from a dog magazine and scanned them onto the computer and create this piece. i used the lettes  d, o, g, l, and c to create my ninja.
